"Sunny-side Down" or, "Prepare to Groan"

It's a well-known fact that a fall is followed by "ow"
And that an Indian Chief instead of saying "hi" asks "how?"
And that a fall also means a season and a trip that you're going far,
And a spill is sometimes a noun, verb, or natural disastar.
But what puzzles me is whether or not a Frenchman would beg,
"Tell me why, when American's fall they say oeuf which means egg?"
